David Hockney is an english artist. He was born on July 9, 1937, making him 79 years old. He paints and also does photography. His work has a lot of polo and modern art. His art work is very colorful. His paintings have a lot of bright blues, reds, greens, and yellow. His photography focuses on different objects so more than one thing stands out.
In order to emulate his style you need to take photos of the same area but with different focus points. For my photos i used framing and leading line. For the framing I used different focuses on the tree to make it seem bigger and longer. For the leading line i used a couple of blurry pictures to give it a bit more character and to give it my own touch. If i would've used my clear photo it would've looked very bland.

For my magazine cover I decided to use Paper Magazine. The reason i used this magazine is because I like the simplicity of it. This magazine usually doesn't have any headlines that take attention away from the picture. What I did to make a replica of the original magazine i used the Arial and chose a color that matched the background.
The equipment used in this project are strobe light, soft box and a reflector. A strobe light is basically a lamp that flashes when you take a picture. The soft box helps diffuse some of the light so it'll look more natural. A reflector helps reflect light onto the dark shaded area of a photo. For this photo I used a silver reflector to give the photo a cool tone. 1:Iso 400, f/5.3, SS 1/90
